It was nice knowing you Walter Clarke.

"From Warner Bros. Television, Golden Boy was one of executive producer Greg Berlanti's two dramas to get the green-light this year, with fellow freshman Arrow already earning a second season at the CW. The Theo James-Chi McBride cop drama earned a reprieve from its Friday time slot in March, taking over the Tuesdays at 10 p.m. slot previously occupied by pricey period drama Vegas, which was bumped to Fridays. During its freshman run, Golden Boy averaged a 1.5 in the key demo and 8.3 million viewers, solid but not the breakout critical hit the network had hoped for."From The Huffungton Post
"CBS' "Golden Boy" has been canceled. Starring Theo James and Chi McBride, the series -- which debuted to 10.56 million viewers -- has seen mediocre ratings throughout its first season, bringing in between 7-10 million viewers per episode. "Golden Boy" was truly on the bubble between cancellation and renewal. "Cop dramas are pretty much as old as television itself," McBride, who plays Detective Don Owen, said of the series ahead of its premiere. "But the difference is that this is more about relationships than just the case of the week. The writers do a pretty good job of balancing the procedural and character development. That's the greatest difference in these shows."
